Turkey Drive (26th November)

Each Thanksgiving season, Vebron Carre hosts its Turkey Drive in Durham, NC, and Soro Punting, aimed at providing meals for low-income families. In collaboration with Hill Side High School, we distribute turkeys and essential groceries to families who may not otherwise have the resources to celebrate the holiday. Our goal is not only to provide nourishment but also to foster a sense of community and togetherness. This event brings volunteers, donors, and local organizations together to make a tangible difference. Through this initiative, we ensure that families can come together, enjoy a wholesome meal, and feel the warmth of the Thanksgiving spirit. The Turkey Drive is a reflection of Vebron Carre’s commitment to supporting vulnerable populations by addressing food insecurity. As the event grows each year, so does its impact, touching more lives and building stronger community bonds.

Toy Drive (24th December)

Every year on Christmas Eve, Vebron Carre runs its Toy Drive, aimed at bringing joy to children in underserved communities across the U.S. The holiday season can be challenging for many families who struggle to provide gifts for their children. Our Toy Drive ensures that every child, regardless of their circumstances, can experience the magic of the holidays. Volunteers and donors come together to collect and distribute toys, spreading cheer and reminding children that they are valued and cared for. This initiative not only provides tangible gifts but also gives children lasting memories, hope, and joy. By making a child smile, we contribute to the overall well-being of the family, reinforcing the importance of community support. Each year, the Toy Drive reaches more children, strengthening Vebron Carre’s mission to uplift those in need during the holiday season.

Christmas with the Orphans (25th December)

Vebron Carre’s Christmas with the Orphans program is held every Christmas Day in Ibusa, Delta State, and Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. This initiative brings hope and happiness to orphaned children, many of whom may not have families to celebrate with. The program includes the distribution of gifts, festive meals, and activities to make the day special for these children. Volunteers engage with the children, sharing moments of joy and helping create lasting memories. Beyond the gifts, this program shows the children that they are not alone, and that they are part of a community that loves and cares for them. Christmas with the Orphans is a testament to the spirit of giving that drives Vebron Carre. It serves to provide emotional support, fostering a sense of belonging and hope for a brighter future. The program continues to grow each year, reaching more orphans and making a greater impact.

Health Outreach (26th December)

Vebron Carre’s Health Outreach program, held every Boxing Day in Ibusa, Nigeria, provides essential healthcare services to underserved communities. This program focuses on preventive care, offering free medical check-ups, screenings, and health education to individuals who may not have regular access to healthcare. Local healthcare professionals and volunteers come together to address common health concerns, provide treatments, and raise awareness about healthy living practices. The outreach is designed to improve the overall well-being of the community by detecting potential health issues early and educating residents on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. By reducing barriers to healthcare, this initiative plays a crucial role in promoting long-term health and preventing the escalation of untreated medical conditions. Vebron Carre’s Health Outreach exemplifies our dedication to improving lives through accessible healthcare, ensuring that even the most vulnerable receive the care they deserve.
